Hello. My name is Jerry. I currently live in Albany Oregon (90 Miles south from Portland.) I am a retired radio broadcaster (30 years). I enjoy life, cooking and music collecting.

 

I am disabled but Amateur Radio has helped me much. I worked at many great NW stations...KXPC-FM / KRKT-AM-FM / KLOG-AM/KWBY-AM/KORE-AM / KFIR-AM/KCKX-AM/KWIP-AM.. .. Clear Channel (Albany-Corvallis,OR) / KHPE-FM/KWIL-AM...and so on...

 

I have also worked with many great people from Paul Revere / Raiders, Kingsmen, Beach Boys, Temptations, Coasters, Drifters, Jimmie Rodgers, Larry Hall...and TOO MANY to mention. Plus great DJs as well.

 

I am also a Beach Boys Scholar and a NW Rock and Roll Historian (from The roots of NW Rock and Roll 1957-present) ie; Kingsmen,The Fleetwoods,The Sonics...and more...

 

In my Radio career from 1976 - 2006, I have worked at over 12 Radio Stations in Two States, I have done over 10,500 hours on the air, played over 168,000 songs, interviewed over 300 musicians and have done over 500 Syndicated Radio programs (1997-2004) on over 40 radio stations world-wide.

 

On the side (moonlighting) I worked as a Recording Engineer / Producer for SANDEE Records (Loveland Colorado). I also was a band manager and a drummer for a band I was in from 1977 - 91. On top of that, after work I would be a Emcee at a local rock and roll venue in Kelso Wa, so I kept busy!

 

I also collect OLD TIME Radio Programs (over 1200) from 1929-1960 / CBSRMT(1974 - 82). I also have collected over 26,732 songs (TOP 40 / MOTOWN / R&B / SOUL/AOR etc...) from 1951-79.

 

I also collect Beach Boys, Gary Lewis and The Playboys / Paul Revere and various Surf Music.The MORE RARE the BETTER!!!
